KU Planetarium Offers Full Slate of Shows and Events

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Planetarium at Kutztown University will host a variety of shows and events this fall.  All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public.  The Planetarium is located in Grimm Science Building, Lytle Lane and North Campus Dr., on the KU campus.

Sept. 25  Ultimate Universe
Admission:  Free
Learn how and when the solar system came to be and why it looks the way it does.

Oct. 10 Extreme Planets
Admission:  Free
Investigate the conditions of several exoplanets that have already been discovered.

Oct. 21-25 Physics Club Laser Light Shows
Admission:  $3 per person
Shows will start at 7 p.m. each night this week.

Nov. 6 Secret Lives of Stars
Admission:  Free
Learn how stars are created and destroyed.

Nov. 21 Light Years from Andromeda
Admission:  Free
Learn of the closest and largest galaxy to our own.

Dec. 4 Secrets of the Orion Nebula
Admission:  Free
Find out the secrets of one of the most photographed objects in the night's sky.
