KUTZTOWN, PA -  Kutztown University as well as several other Berks County colleges are currently feeling the strain of reduced government funding for research projects. With funding resources harder to come by, these research opportunities for many university courses are becoming more difficult. KU physical sciences professor Adrienne Oakley is just one of many educators who relies on these research opportunities for positive student growth. Our own university professionals spoke to the Reading Eagle about this decline in funding.
