New State System Chancellor to Visit KU

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Frank T. Brogan, the recently appointed Chancellor of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), will visit Kutztown University on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Brogan will host an open forum for students, faculty and staff at 11:15 a.m. in the Academic Forum, room 201.  Questions from the media will be taken at a press conference at 12:45 p.m. in room 183 (Alumni Auditorium) of the McFarland Student Union.

Brogan became the fourth PASSHE chancellor on Oct. 1. A lifelong educator, Mr. Brogan previously served as chancellor of the State University System of Florida, was president of Florida Atlantic University and was twice elected lieutenant governor of the state of Florida. 

As PASSHE's chancellor, Brogan serves as the State System's chief executive officer, which operates 14 comprehensive universities with a combined enrollment of nearly 115,000 students. The chancellor works with the Board of Governors to recommend and develop overall policies for the System.  

The Academic Forum is located on Lytle Lane and the McFarland Student Union is located on College Blvd.
