KU Dance Team to Open, Close Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Kutztown University Dance Team will perform during the opening and finale of the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, Nov. 28 beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Performing in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the team will be featured during special dance productions that mark the start and finish of the parade.  

The KU dancers will be the only unit from Berks County in the parade.  

Now in its 94th year, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade is the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the nation.  The 1.4-mile parade route ends at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  The parade is sponsored by Dunkin Donuts and 6 ABC, Philadelphia.
