Chinese Principal to Visit KU

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Zhao Tang Wang of China's Hebei Province will make two stops at Kutztown University this week.  Wang, who is a principal of 23rd Middle School in China, is visiting the United States and the Kutztown Area School District.  His school is home to more than 6,000 students. 

On Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m. Wang will tour the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center with Curator Patrick Donmoyer.  The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University is an open-air folklife museum and research center dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Pennsylvania German heritage. 

On Thursday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. Wang will tour the Sharadin Art Building on campus and be presented a handmade tea pot by James Chaney, professor of art education and crafts.  The presentation will take place in room 108 of Sharadin.
