Author, philosopher Thomas Pogge to present "World Poverty: Explanations and Responsibilities?"

KUTZTOWN, PA - This year, KU will celebrate World Philosophy Day in order to properly honor the study of philosophy around the world.

The Department of Philosophy will welcome Thomas Pogge, a celebrated German philosopher and author who studies the more social and political areas of philosophy. His lecture, "World Poverty: Explanations and Responsibilities?" will be held on Tuesday Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. , Boehm 145.
