KU Electronic Media Alumni Win State Broadcasting Awards

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Associated Press Broadcast Association (PAPBA) has announced the recipients of their annual broadcasting awards. This year eight graduates of Kutztown University's Department of Electronic Media took home medals at the May 18 convention in Harrisburg. Stations and individuals submit entries to the awards contest. Those entries are judged by broadcasters from another state.
Brett Miller '10 has won for his work on "The bridge of death" with WFMZ-TV, Allentown.
Kyrie George '06 was honored with two medals for work on "Roll Models" with WHTM-TV, Harrisburg.
Anna Wagner '08 and Pamela Kemp '08 were honored for their work on CBS 21 News with WHP-TV, Harrisburg.
Zach DeWever MS '10, Andrew Goodwin '12 and Chaz Smith '87 have all won awards for their work on "End of the World" with WFMZ-TV, Allentown.
George and Dan Carrigan '09 earned a third-place medal for their work on WHTM's spot news "High Profile Kidnapping-Dramatic End."
