Never Too Late: Inspiring Story of KU alumna Cheryl Geiger Sheeler

KUTZTOWN, PA - Though she wasn't the traditional student, Kutztown University alumna Cheryl Geiger Sheeler still chose to pursue her one regret in life: never having pursued her degree in art. Twenty-five years later when finding herself at a crossroads, she went back to Kutztown University and successfully completed her much saught-after degree in art. All the perseverance was worth it, as she graduated a day before her 51st birthday.

"I know that had I done this when I was 18, I don't think I would have had as good an experience. I'm glad that I did it, and I'm very proud of myself."
