Alumnus, CNN correspondent covers Olympic preparations

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University alum Jim Boulden '86 is among the contingent of reporters covering various aspects of the Olympics for CNN. Recently, Boulden appeared on CNN USA and headline news from the CNN Olympics Beureau.
He also tweets many updates and happenings during the games.
Boulden, a graduate of KU's electronic media program, is a correspondent who covers a wide range of business and news stories for CNN's international programming based in London. Boulden reports from around Europe and the world, as well as reports live from the London Stock Exchange for CNN's daily business programs. He joined CNN's London Bureau in November 1995 as a package producer, following which he covered stories such as the dot com explosion, the market crash of 1997 in Russia and Asia and the introduction of the Euro. In 1999 and 2000, Boulden produced a number of packages around Europe for CNN's weekly show 'Business Unusual'. Then in 2000 to 2001, he became producer of CNN's 'Your Business Your World' which included covering Aids from Uganda, credit for the poor from Bangladesh and the blood diamonds debate from South Africa.
