KU Art Professor's Work to be Featured in Solo Art Show

KUTZTOWN, PA - The art work of Michael Radyk, a Kutztown University assistant professor in fibers, will be featured at Pennsylvania State University, Altoona at the McLanahan Gallery in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts from September 6 - October 14. The collection, titled 05/05/05, features a series of woven and embroidered wall pieces.
Radyk's work, including wall pieces as well as scarves and textiles, has been featured across the United States as well as internationally. He is a recipient of residencies from the Hambidge Center for the Arts and Sciences in Rabun Gap, Georgia and the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, Oregon. He received a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and an MFA in textiles from Rhode Island School of Design. He taught at Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia and Savannah College of Art and Design before coming to KU.
