Electronic Media garners two Emmy Nominations

PHILADELPHIA - Congratulations to the students and faculty of the Kutztown University Department of Electronic Media. Tonight, the team earned two nominations for the regional Emmy Awards, announced at XFinity Live in Philadelphia. Awards will be presented in the fall.

The nominees:

• KUTV Sports for its production of the KU Men's Basketball regular-season finale directed by Megan Ziegler with alumni announcers Mike Iannacci and Sam Balga.
• Camera One for its feature on the Reading Railroad produced and shot by Gina Miley and Jessica Zehring, edited by Mike Walsh. 

Additionally, some Electronic Media graduates received nominations for entries submitted by their current places of employment.   More details will be posted as they become available.
