KU Students Wins Philadelphia Scholarship Competition

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Nathaniel Renninger, a junior communication design major, concentrating in advertising and graphic design at Kutztown University, won the Philly Ad Club "Philly's Future" Scholarship. In addition to winning one of three $5,000 scholarships, Renninger also received a summer internship at an advertising agency of his choice.
Renninger of Robesonia Pa. is a 2010 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and the Berks Career and Technology Center.
Nominated by his professors to be considered for this award, Renninger impressed the Philly Ad Club with his portfolio that consisted of a collection of his works throughout his college career and an ad created for the club.
The Philly Ad Club, a non-profit organization, is one of the region's largest and most active trade associations, with more than 2000 members. It represents Greater Philadelphia Ad Agencies, Greater Philadelphia Interactive Agencies, Philadelphia Media Buying Agencies, other specialty agencies, Philadelphia Broadcast and Print Media, and more.
