KU Presents Big Art Day (BAD) on April 20

KUTZTOWN, PA - This year's Big Art Day (BAD) invites current students and alumni to network and share their accomplishments and future endeavors. This year's event will be held on Friday, Apr. 20, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in Sharadin Arts Building, Room 120. Presentations will begin at 9 a.m. Big Art Day is free and open to the public.
The presenters this year are alumni Erika Stanley, a photographer, performance artist who lives and works in Portland, Oregon; Xavier Jimenez, an independent curator, freelance web developer, and designer based in Upstate New York; and Josh Dannin, a recent graduate, who has participated in numerous workshops and residencies in North America.
The event will conclude with the announcement of scholarships and awards bestowed on current KU art students including; the Karen Anderson Fine Arts Graduation Award, the Chambliss medal winners, Fine Arts Department Art History Award, and Sharadin Award.
