2013 Football Team 

The Kutztown University football team is headed across the commonwealth to open the 2013 season tomorrow at Clarion. 
You can follow all of the action live in Berks County and southeastern Pennsylvania on WEEU Radio, 830 AM.  Coverage begins at 12:45 p.m. with the pre-game show.   
The game can also be heard live on the web at kubears.com.    Be sure to tune in as KU plays its first game under new head coach Drew Folmar.   #GoBearsGo

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

University Relations is gathering information for the 2013-2014 Media Resource Guide.  We are looking for faculty and staff who can serve as experts for local, regional and even national media.  This is positive publicity for KU and shows off the high level of faculty and staff on our campus.  University Relations receives many calls from reporters looking for individuals to contribute to their stories.  Once they contact our office we will contact you and ask if you are willing to speak to the reporter.  If you are interested in being a part of the guide please fill out the information form found at this link.  Please return the form to Dave Johnson in the University Relations Office by Oct. 1.  Please fill out a new form even if you were  included in previous guides so we can update our information and confirm that you still wish to serve as an expert.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.



Kutztown University is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gregory H. Heifer, a KU student who passed away on September 2. Heifer was a psychology major from Spring Township, Pa. Family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring. The complete obituary can be viewed here.
