Tonight, Oct. 28, 7:30 p.m., Schaeffer Auditorium

Broadway comes to Kutztown in a spectacular night of music! Kutztown alumnus and founder of Arlington, Virginia's TONY-award winning Signature Theatre, Eric Schaeffer directs an evening of Broadway showstoppers featuring some of its greatest stars - 3 time TONY nominee Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins, The Music Man, Showboat), Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime), Tony nominee Ron Rains (Follies), and Broadway and West End veteran Jason Danieley (The Full Monty) - along with a 23-piece backing orchestra. 



Morphed: The Transformation of Whales from Four-legged Land Dwellers to Today's Marine Giants, a seminar presented by Don Hanson at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Oct. 29 in Boehm 145.  All are welcome.

Fine Arts Department Visiting Artists Series - Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in Sharadin 120. Please join the Fine Arts Department for a lecture by artist Peter Rose. Rose's works in film, video, installation, and performance have received extensive national and international exhibition, including shows at the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Centre Pompidou, the Yokohama Museum of Art, the Fabric Workshop and Museum, the Rotterdam International Film Festival and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Ranging from ribald deconstructions of theoretical language to mysterious ceremonies of light, his films and videos are concerned with new forms of vision, with the structures of thought, and with the pleasures of obscure journeys.
