Sharon Olds, a world-renowned poet, will be giving a reading of her poetry on campus this week: Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Georgian Room of OM at 7 p.m., reception and signing immediately follow the reading. The reading is free and open to the public. Among her numerous honors, Olds Has Won the National Book Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the Eliot Prize. Olds will also be giving a master class on writing and literature for KU students the following morning. Please contact Andrew Vogel,, for more information. 


PEBTF Open Enrollment Deadline for Making an Open Enrollment Plan Change is Approaching: The 2013 Open Enrollment period ends on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013.  If you are happy with your current plan choice, you don't have to do anything.  If you want to make a change, add or remove dependents, you must do so by the deadline of Friday, Oct. 25.


PEBTF Get Healthy - Wellness Screenings - Reminder Message - Have you registered for your Know Your Numbers Wellness Screening? There is still time to make an appointment for screenings scheduled at the end of October or later.  Make an appointment for your FREE and confidential wellness screening.  Information is on the PEBTF website.  Employees must successfully complete a wellness screening as one of the requirements to earning the Get Healthy contribution waiver beginning July 1, 2014.
