On Thursday, Oct 17, contractors will be applying an anti-slip material to the patterned concrete around Schaeffer Auditorium. As a result, pedestrian traffic patterns will be altered as follows from 8 a.m. Thursday until 8 a.m. Friday:
•1. The front entrance to Schaeffer will be closed and entry to Schaeffer will be via either the doors on the Schaeffer Lane side of the Lobby or the doors on the elevated plaza on the Sharadin side.
•2. Except for emergency egress, the doorway at the small rehearsal room that exits onto the Platz will also be closed.
•3. The diagonal sidewalk in front of Schaeffer running from Main Street to Sharadin will remain open, however the Platz walkway leading to the MSU will be closed. The walkway along Sharadin to the MSU will remain open.
•4. Sidewalks along Schaeffer Lane will remain open as will the sidewalk from Schaeffer Lane to Boehm, however there may be restrictions/detours in place.
I apologize in advance for the disruption and ask that you do not cross posted barricades. Questions should be directed to Jeff Mosser, Project Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
