Men's Rugby

Ranked #4 in the nation, Kutztown men's rugby will face Bowling Green tomorrow, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. in the American Collegiate Rugby Championship semi-final round.  The game will be played in Kutztown at the North Campus rugby pitch.


The Department of Art Education and Crafts will hold their annual Art Education conference today. This year's conference, The Book: Image, Text and Tales, will take place in Schaeffer Auditorium starting at 8:15. The keynote speakers are artists Barbara Tetenbaum, Miriam Shaer and author David Kirk.

Dr. Lynn M. Kutch (Modern Language Studies) has had her web resource, The German Graphic Novel, recognized by the Modern Language Association (MLA) as a Website of the Week.

Website of the Week (WoW) #122: The German Graphic Novel - "Here's a fantastic resource for instructors of German language and culture. This site describes and provides teaching ideas for all kinds of German graphic novels, from biographical to historical to crime and literary adaptations. And check out the lists of resources for more pedagogical inspiration using graphic novels."



The Honors Program is pleased to announce this year's recipients of the PASSHE 2014 Summer Study Abroad Program: Canadian Maritime, Geological Wonders Living from the Land and Sea. They are junior Ashley Crawford (BSED SEU/Social Studies, minor in Literature) and senior Emily Snyder ( BS Geology, minor in Biology and Chemistry). Men's Rugby beat West Virginia University on Saturday 83-17 in the American College Rugby Championship semi-final round.  KU will now face Bowling Green in the final four at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, on the KU North Campus rugby pitch.



Women's Rugby is headed to the final four of the American College Rugby Conference Championship after a 15-5 win over Bowdoin this weekend.  KU takes on Winona State on Dec. 7 in Florida.
