28th Division Band 

The 28th Division Band of the Pa. National Guard will perform a free concert tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Schaeffer Auditorium.  The concert is free and open to the public.  The 28th Division Band, which can trace its lineage back to 1878, is Pennsylvania's oldest music performance group.

The Philosophy Department announces the third annual UNESCO World Philosophy Day Lecture on Nov. 21, 6 p.m., AF 200.  Dr. Michele Moody-Adams, Joseph Straus Professor of Political Philosophy and Legal Theory, Columbia University, will speak on "Cultural Diversity, Globalization and the Future of Democratic Citizenship."

2013 Staff/Faculty Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in MSU Formal Dining Room. Start this buffet meal with tossed greens w/toppings & dressings and a soup du jour with rolls/butter. Six new members were inducted into the Kutztown Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday morning at the annual banquet held in Kutztown's on-campus Student Recreation Center.

The 35th annual class included: Sarah Brandon Woodward '07, women's volleyball; Jeremy Culver '99, men's track and field; Shannon J. Daggett '98, women's track and field/field hockey; Kellie Evans '03, softball; Greg Gristick '83, football; and Bilal A. Salaam '05, men's basketball.

GOLDEN BEAR CLUB SPORTS 

Men's Rugby beat West Virginia University on Saturday 83-17 in the American College Rugby Championship semi-final round.  KU will now face Bowling Green in the final four at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, on the KU North Campus rugby pitch.

 


 

Women's Rugby is headed to the final four of the American College Rugby Conference Championship after a 15-5 win over Bowdoin this weekend.  KU takes on Winona State on Dec. 7 in Florida.
