Auditions for spring involvement in University Choir, Chamber Singers, AfterHours, and Bear Voices are being done by Prof. Don Schade now through the first week of December.  These ensembles are offered for credit.  Please make students aware of this opportunity.  To audition, contact Prof Schade at  schade@kutztown.edu.

International Week April 13 - 19: The International Student Organization and the International Affairs Committee Conferences, Symposia, and Colloquia Task Force will join together with the KU campus community to host events for International Week in April. We encourage the entire campus community to get involved! Please contact us if you and/or your department would like to be involved with International Week. Tune into KUR this weekend!  Braden Stone will do a 24-hour show Saturday at 7 p.m. through Sunday at 7 p.m. This has only been done one other time in the history of KUR.  It is done to bring attention to KUR's 24 hour programming.

 

GOLDEN BEAR ATHLETICS

Tomorrow is the season finale for the KU football team as the Golden Bears host Edinboro. Come out to University Field for the 1:05 p.m. kickoff as KU looks to win its third game in a row to close out the 2013 season.  Students, faculty and staff with a valid ID will be admitted free, and tickets will be available at the gate. Festivities will include recognition of the newest KU Athletic Hall of Famers and KU seniors, and community day activities. Be sure to bring your radio and tune into all of the action on WEEU 830 AM, your sports leader in Berks County and beyond, beginning at 12:50 p.m. The KU Electronic Media produced telecast of the game will be carried live on WLVT PBS 39 and KUTV. Be sure to check local listing for details.  See you at University Field!

 


  

Join us Nov. 16 at KU's annual Community Day Celebration during our 1 p.m. football game vs. Edinboro University! Local non-profit organizations will be on hand to talk about how you can benefit from getting involved.  Also, we will be honoring two alumni who work with the Travis Manion Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting our nation's veterans and service members, and support families of fallen soldiers. 

 


  

Kutztown University women's soccer was picked as the fifth seed in the six-team NCAA regional.  The Golden Bears (12-6) will take on fourth-seeded West Chester (13-7) in the first round of regional play on today at 2 p.m. Live stats and audio on the Golden Bear Network will be available for Kutztown's first and second round games.  Click here for video of the lady's reaction as they watch the NCAA selection show.

KU Men's Rugby will take on West Virginia University on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the North Campus rugby pitch in the American Collegiate Rugby Championship playoffs. 

  


  

KU Women's Rugby will take on Stonehill College Saturday at 2 p.m. at Vassar in the American College Rugby Association sweet sixteen.
