Kutztown University women's soccer was picked as the fifth seed in the six-team NCAA regional.  The Golden Bears (12-6) will take on fourth-seeded West Chester (13-7) in the first round of regional play on Friday, November 15. The game will played at California (PA), the top seed in the region, as game time is set for 2 p.m. Live stats and audio on the Golden Bear Network will be available for Kutztown's first and second round games.  Click here for video of the lady's reaction as they watch the NCAA selection show.

The Philosophy Department announces the third annual UNESCO World Philosophy Day Lecture on Nov. 21, 6 p.m., AF 200.  Dr. Michele Moody-Adams, Joseph Straus Professor of Political Philosophy and Legal Theory, Columbia University, will speak on "Cultural Diversity, Globalization and the Future of Democratic Citizenship."

The Military Club at Kutztown University is collecting canned goods for The Comfort House, a homeless veteran's shelter, and toys for the Toys for Tots program at the football game this Saturday, Nov. 16. We will also be taking financial donations which we will be using to purchase canned goods and toys. Attendees of the football game can donate to either cause if desired.

KU Men's Rugby will take on West Virginia University on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the North Campus rugby pitch in the American Collegiate Rugby Championship playoffs.
