It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Kathi Malloy's father, Walter Opiekun, on the evening of May 14.  Ludwick Funeral Home in Kutztown will be handling arrangements. Messages of condolences may be sent to Kathi at the Office of Assessment, 201 Graduate Center.  Please include Kathi and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

GOLDEN BEAR ATHLETICS

 

Kutztown University will play host to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Baseball Championships May 15-18. All games will be played at Owls Field in West Lawn, Pa. 

 

The Golden Bears fell to Millersville in round one of the Atlantic Region Championships yesterday.  They will take on Winston-Salem today at noon.  Here is today's schedule (weather permitting):

 

Game 4:            Kutztown vs. Winston-Salem State - 12:00 PM
Game 5:            Millersville vs. Mercyhurst - 3:30 PM
Game 6:            Shepherd vs. Seton Hill - 7:00 PM
