University Relations

Kutztown's United Greek Council will host a bake sale today, March 6, outside the former One Card Office in the McFarland Student Union. Proceeds and donations will benefit the victims of the recent assaults at Bloomsburg University.

Thirty-Five Students are using their Spring Break to serve others and the community through the Community Outreach Center's Alternative Spring Break program. We have groups of students traveling to WV, NC, SC, VA, and TN. Students have paid $150 for the week of sleeping in cots or in sleeping bags at night and doing community service during the day.   We could use the donation of snacks and bottled water to send with them - to reduce some of their food expenses. Especially breakfast snacks/foods (oatmeal bars, pop-tarts, fruit); and other things like granola bars; fruit bars; cookies; etc. Anything that does not need refrigerated or cooked.  We will pool all donations and split them up between the trips.   Please drop any donations off at the Community Outreach Center, MSU 281 by Thursday, March 13.  We appreciate your support.

Jerry W. Schearer, associate dean, Inclusion and Outreach
