The Daily Brief

Kutztown University women's basketball head coach Janet Malouf was doused with buckets of cold water by members of the KU athletics staff on Monday afternoon in support of the national effort known as Chillin4Charity in benefit of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.  Malouf was challenged by West Chester University head coach Deirdre Kane, who pledged to donate $25 to the fund if Malouf accepted the challenge. Moments before taking the 'Cold Water Challenge', Malouf challenged California (PA) head coach Jess Strom, Lock Haven head coach Jennifer Smith, and the commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Steve Murray. If they accept the challenge by the Fourth of July, Malouf will donate $25 in each challenger's name.
