Due to the severe weather in the area, Kutztown University will close at noon today, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014.

Essential personnel should report as directed.

Dr. Carlos Vargas-Aburto

Kutztown University is pleased to welcome a familiar face to the office of the president.  Beginning today Dr. Carlos Vargas-Aburto assumes the role of acting president.  He will occupy the president's office in Stratton 303 and can be reached at extension 34102. He will continue to use his email account cvargas@kutztown.edu

Dr. Vargas will continue to oversee the division of academic and student affairs until the appointment of the temporary provost is finalized. For those who need his assistance in this area, please contact Ms. Toyia Heyward at x34155 in Stratton 307.
