Kutztown men's rugby won the inaugural Division I American Collegiate Rugby Championship Saturday with a 33-18 win over Penn State. 


 The Department of Electronic Media will be screening their documentary on the 2013 Golden Bear football season, "Building a Legacy," tonight at 6 p.m. in MSU's Alumni Auditorium. All are invited to attend.


The Kutztown University Council of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. at the Stratton Administration Building, room 301.

The Copy Center will be relocating from the Academic Forum room 107 to the Stratton Administration Center room 107 on Dec. 18. Normal business operations will resume Dec. 19 at the new location.

Kutztown University will hold an open presentation on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. for the campus and local community to view a draft of the Campus Facilities Master Plan. This session will be held in Boehm Science Center, room 145. Questions and feedback will be taken after a short presentation. The updated plan represents a 20 year look of our 289-acre campus. The plan is built on the foundation of previous master plans with the last update taking place in 2006.


Dr. Desalegne Mengesha Degefaw, Academic Vice President of the University of Gondar in Ethiopia, will visit Kutztown University today, Dec. 9. at 4 p.m. in AF 103. He will give a presentation to faculty, students and staff on "Opportunities for Institutional partnerships between Kutztown University and the University of Gondar." Currently a Fulbright Scholar at the Ohio State University, Dr. Degefaw is exploring possible program linkages with various Departments at Kutztown University. Kutztown men's rugby won the inaugural Division I American Collegiate Rugby Championship Saturday with a 33-18 win over Penn State.  Both the A and B teams had completely undefeated seasons. 

Kutztown women's rugby finished fourth in the nation at the American Collegiate Rugby Association Championships.  The women fell to Winona State, the eventual tournament champion, on Saturday 52-17 and to Vassar 24-15 on Sunday.  Faith Hughes was named team MVP and she and Tabetha Super were named to the All-Tournament Team.
