When you attend this Saturday's basketball games at 1 p.m. you'll be able to use the newest ATM on the KU campus. A PSECU machine has been installed in the lobby of Keystone Arena and is available whenever the building is open.


Student Recreation Center and Keystone Hall swimming pool will be operating under the following schedule during finals week:

Dec. 9-11 Regular Hours of Operation
Dec. 12 6 a.m. -9 p.m. (Pool 8-9 a.m., 12-1 p.m., 5:30-7 p.m.)
Dec. 13 6 a.m. -6 p.m. (Pool 8-9 a.m., 12-1 p.m.)
Dec. 14-15 CLOSED (Pool Closed)
Group exercise classes will conclude on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Cheryl will have lunchtime workouts the week of Jan. 6 and Jan. 13.

Winter break hours begin on Monday, Dec. 16
Student Recreation Center M-F 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is quickly approaching (Monday, Jan. 20, 2014). We welcome faculty and staff to join KU students in making this a "Day on, not a day off" by participating in several community service projects we are organizing around Berks County. Proposals are still being accepted for the Commission on Human Diversity conference to be held on March 7, 2014. We encourage faculty and staff to submit a proposal or register for the conference using this link:


Still openings for students to participate in the Alternative Spring Break program through the Community Outreach Center. If you are teaching a course with an element of service-learning in the Spring semester or simply know of students that might like to join their fellow students to do community service work over spring break - we still have a few openings for the DC, WV, and TN trips! Cost is $150 and trips are almost full. Students may stop by the Community Outreach Center or email for more information! If Faculty/Staff have any questions about ASB or incorporating service-learning experiences, please feel free to contact Jerry Schearer.

2013 Staff/Faculty Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in MSU Formal Dining Room. Start this buffet meal with tossed greens w/toppings & dressings and a soup du jour with rolls/butter. Then for your entree choose from a stuffed chicken breast, flank steak, vegetable lasagna, roasted red potatoes, green beans w/bacon & parmesan cheese and buttered corn. And of course don't forget the assorted desserts and beverages.
