And the winner of the 3rd Annual Kutztown University Foundation and Office of Alumni Engagement Chili Cook-Off is.......... "Little Bit of This..Little Bit of That."    Congratulations to Cheryl Swavely for her winning submission.  This is Cheryl's second consecutive win!  If you would like the winning chili recipe, feel free to stop by the Foundation and Alumni Engagement Offices.   Join us again in December 2014 as Cheryl tries to defend her title, with the winning recipe from this year.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by on Monday to try a variety of chilies and to cast their votes.

The following outstanding students were inducted on November 22 into the Gamma Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the International Geographical Honor Society:  Eli N. Bracken, Zachary C. Graves, Robert Hamburger, Rebecca Kovalic, Kevin J. Pearson, and Chelsea Strehse. GOLDEN BEAR CLUB SPORTS 

 

Kutztown men's rugby

won the inaugural Division I American Collegiate Rugby Championship Saturday with a 33-18 win over Penn State. Both the A and B teams had completely undefeated seasons.

Kutztown women's rugby

finished fourth in the nation at the American Collegiate Rugby Association Championships. The women fell to Winona State, the eventual tournament champion, on Saturday 52-17 and to Vassar 24-15 on Sunday. Faith Hughes was named team MVP and she and Tabetha Super were named to the All-Tournament Team.
