The Daily Brief

 Gathering of Gratitude

More than 90 scholarship student recipients, KU alumni, faculty, staff and donors met for the Gathering of Gratitude sponsored by the Kutztown University Foundation (KUF) recently.  This luncheon is an annual event where KUF thanks and recognizes the people who have given generously of themselves, whether it is through their time, through their donations or through their know-how.  It is also a special moment for students who have received scholarships to attend the luncheon and have a chance to meet their scholarship donor(s).  An additional $10,000 in support of scholarships was raised at the luncheon. KU Foundation Board President, Jim Zellner '86 and his wife, Joanna, joined KUF Executive Director, Tracey L. Thompson on stage and selected the names of twelve lucky Kutztown University students in attendance who would each receive an additional $1000 scholarship.
