Election Day Information

Tuesday, Nov. 5 is Election Day and here is some information that may be helpful to you as you assist students and colleagues voting in PA.  Polls are open 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. in Pennsylvania.  Generally, www.votespa.com is a great resource.

First time voters must show proof of identification at the polling place- either a photo ID or non-photo ID. Approved forms of voter ID for first-time voters or voters that moved to a new polling location include:

  • Non-photo ID (showing name and current address): voter registration card issued by voter registration commission; non-photo ID issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; non-photo ID issued by the U.S. Government, firearm permit; or a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or government check.

Voter registration and polling location can be confirmed here.  https://www.pavoterservices.state.pa.us/Pages/voterregistrationstatus.aspx
