Political Science
Kutztown University's Bachelor of Arts in Political Science prepares students to succeed in a wide range of fields. Students will study American government, political theory, international relations, and comparative politics among their core courses. Students are exposed to all the subfields of the discipline. However, students can choose to focus their major electives within the program. A wide range of courses across the discipline are offered.
Political Science with Paralegal Studies
The completion of the Political Science with Paralegal Studies program of study will enable students to find employment as a paralegal or enhance their major. It is also beneficial for individuals preparing for Law School. Students will take courses such as Civil Litigation and Procedure, Torts and Personal Injury, Law Office Management, Legal Research & Writing in this fascinating program.
The program entails the study of the paralegal profession as well as the limitations imposed by unauthorized practice of law.
Minor in Political Science
The minor in Political Science requires American Government and a choice between International Relations or State & Local Government. Twelve semester hours of electives complete the minor.
