Sample Repertoir

The following guide offers only a sampling of the entire chamber ensemble repertoire, and does not restrict students from working on additional material.

Specific programs of study will be chosen to develop each student's individual strengths and weaknesses while best preparing them for life as a performer, educator, or well-rounded individual.

Students will typically enter and exit the program at various levels.

  • Brahms: Trio in E flat Major, Op. 40 for piano, horn, and violin
  • Mozart: Piano Quartet in g minor, K 478
  • Hue: Soir Paien, for voice, flute, and piano
  • Schumann: Quintet in E flat, Op. 44 for piano, and string quartet
  • Weber: Trio in g minor, op. 63 for piano, flute and cello
  • Bruch: Romanian Melody, Op. 83, no. 5, for clarinet, viola, and piano
  • Beethoven: Duo no. 2 for violin and cello
  • Benjamin: Jamaican Rumba for two pianos
  • Piazzolla: Oblivion (arr. for violin, cello and piano)
  • Bach: Concerto in d minor for piano and strings
  • Bolling: Suite for flute and jazz piano trio
  • Saint-Saens: Septet in E flat, Op. 65 for piano, trumpet, 2 violins, viola, cello and bass
