Welcome to the official web page of the Kutztown University Marching Unit (KUMU)!

UPDATE:  Fall 2014 Season Information for KUMU members is now available on Forms page.

The Kutztown University Marching Unit (KUMU) is a marching band with a great band tradition. Membership in KUMU is open to any interested student enrolled at Kutztown University. The Marching Unit is an energetic part of the KU Campus Community which provides music, marching, and entertainment for all KU Golden Bears Football games, select away games, marching band festivals/competitions, professional sporting events, parades, and additional spirit building activities. The Marching Unit is currently composed of Winds, Brass, Battery Percussion (drums), and Colorguard members who bring with them a wide variety of talents and experiences.

Membership in KUMU requires dedication, hard work, and a willingness to share your spirit with members and friends of the KU community. As a member of the Marching Unit you will provide support for KU sports teams, and develop life-long friendships, meaningful memories, pride in yourself, and your school. KUMU rehearsals are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. I encourage you to join us in creating musical and visual energy.

Please come and be a part of our ensemble.  Contact me or complete the form to receive more information.

Sincerely,

Daniel Neuenschwander, Director
Kutztown University Marching Unit
