The Mathematics Department of Kutztown University strives to be one of the premier departments at the University and in the region by:

• providing opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students to excel academically in the study of mathematics
• offering a well-balanced mathematics curriculum that enables students to be capable of reasoning logically, abstractly, and practically
• enhancing the field of mathematics and mathematics education through continued and sustained scholarly activities and
• serving the region as experts in mathematics and mathematics education.
