News about students, faculty, meetings and events, jobs and program developments

All criminal justice students are invited to attend Criminal Justice Career Day. The event will be held in MSU on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Criminal justice classes will be cancelled for the day so that you can meet and personally interact with practitioners who are working in the criminal justice system. Panels will focus on state police, federal police, local police, corrections at the state and federal level, probation, prosecutors, and private and non-profit agencies. The day will begin with a keynote address by John Hartman, Deputy Inspector General for the United States Department of Energy-a graduate of our program. In fact, most of the panelists are former KU criminal justice students.

This is the second Criminal Justice Career Day. Students who attended the first event found it extremely enlightening. Meet with graduates of our program, who will share their knowledge and secrets to success. Open new doors to the future-attend Criminal Justice Career Day!
