Biology Major Programs
The Biology Major offers three different track specializations from which students can choose:
- Pre-Medical and Other Health Careers
The program is designed to prepare students for their further education in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physical therapy, or physician's assistant school.

- Molecular/Micro/Cell Biology
The program is designed to provide majors with a broad background in biology as well as advanced knowledge in the area of concentration.
- Organismal Biology/Ecology
This program is designed to provide majors with a broad education in the biology of organisms and their ecology.

- B.S. in Environmental Science: Biology/Geology/Chemistry/Geography
The Biology program at Kutztown University prepares students for employment in their areas of specialization, for graduate work in biology, and for medical and other professional schools. The programs have strong lab components that emphasize student involvement and close student-faculty interaction.
- B.S. in Marine Science: Biology/or Oceanography
Kutztown University offers a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science for students who desire an interdisciplinary background in oceanography or marine biology. The program is taught by faculty in the Biology and Physical Sciences departments within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
- B.S.Secondary Ed. Biology - in the College of Education
The Biology program at Kutztown University offers a Bachelor of Science in Education for students.
