Diane King, Ph.D.
Diane King holds a B.A. in Psychology, a M.A. in Special Education, and a Ph.D. in Special Education from Lehigh University. She also has instructional certification in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and supervisor certification in Special Education. Prior to arriving at Kutztown University, she obtained tenure at a university in New Jersey and taught at two local independent colleges. Before starting her career in higher education, she taught preschool children with disabilities in New Jersey and supervised special education teachers in the Allentown School District. Dr. King's research interests include Response to Intervention issues, educational needs of special education multi-cultural students, and effective teacher education practices.
