David Ross, Ed.D.

David Ross holds a B.S.Ed in Elementary Education, M.Ed. in Special Education and an Ed.D. in Special Education (Visual Impairment, Orientation and Mobility and Deafblindness) from Texas Tech University. Prior to coming to Kutztown, Dr. Ross taught students with visual impairment. Dr. Ross is a past President of the Division on Visual Impairment/Council for Exceptional Children, currently serves on national and state committees, presents and publishes research, is a consultant for the National Coalition for the Deafblind, and is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness. He is a recipient of the Annual Outstanding Support Award from Overbrook School for the Blind, the Outstanding Research and Publication Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and served as consultant on visual impairment to a script writer for Twentieth Century Fox Television.
