Act 48
On November 23, 1999, Gov. Tom Ridge signed into law Act 48, which changed the requirements for maintaining an active Pennsylvania professional educator certificate.
Students are responsible for filling out an Act 48 form per course/workshop that he or she wishess to have submitted for Act 48 credit. Students may only submit courses or workshops that are taken through Kutztown University on this website; he or she can do so by clicking the "Submit Course Online" link on the left. If you wish to send the form through the U. S. mail, please print and fill out the Course Form that is provided in PDF format.
