COACHING & ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATION
Forty-five million youth participate in athletic programs each year, with more than three million coaches and other personnel required to organize and operate these activities. If you love sports, a specialization in Coaching and Athletic Administration is a rewarding way to continue your affiliation with athletics and athletes.
Part of Kutztown University's Leisure & Sport Studies Program, the Coaching & Athletic Administration Specialization prepares students for work within sport programs at public and private schools, colleges and universities. Class work within the Coaching & Athletic Administration Specialization is focused on a business-based sport management curriculum that highlights the skills needed to work with student both insitutions and community based organizations.
Kutztown University's Coaching Education Program is nationally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education. With a degree in Leisure & Sport Studies and a specilization in Coaching & Athletic Administration, students are prepared for a variety of positions related to student-based athletics:

The Leisure & Sport Studies Program at Kutztown University is a 120-credit major, with Leisure & Sport Studies majors completing 60 semester hours of general education courses, 39 semester hours of Leisure & Sport Studies core classes, and 21 hours of specialty courses. Upon successful completion of the Leisure & Sport Studies program, students graduate with a bachelor of science degree.
