Professor Norman Sigmond
Old Main 213
Professor Sigmond is originally from Philadelphia. He is an avid Philly sports fan and still remembers the crash of the 1964 Phillies, but also the championships of the Sixers, Flyers, Phils and Eagles. He spent five years in the Army. He then worked in several business-related positions before attending college. His undergraduate degree is from Phila. College of Textiles and Science; then masters degrees from LaSalle University and Temple University. He has been a staff auditor at Ernst and Young, a consultant to regional CPA firms on the quality of their work, and general manager of a small manufacturing company in addition to other professional experience. His personal interests include auto mechanics, electronics, reading, opera and classical music, jazz and blues - though he cannot play a single note on any instrument. He remains a hopeful and loyal Philly sports fan.
