Kutztown University Planetarium

The Kutztown University Planetarium is located on the ground floor of the Grim Science Building, and is labeled Room 100. The planetarium is used for introductory astronomy laboratory exercises and for the university's Astronomy Outreach Program. The KU Planetarium features a full-dome digital projection system and surround sound.

In addition to Public Planetarium Shows and Special Events, special Group Planetarium Shows may be scheduled during the Fall and Spring semesters. Private Group Planetarium shows are for larger community groups, such as schools and scouting troops. The planetarium seats 85 people and shows last approximately 1 hour. For information on requesting a planetarium show for your group, click the link on the left side of the page.

All shows are followed by a question & answer period with KU's astrophysicist and planetarium director Dr. Phill Reed.
