Facilities

Please note that campus groups or departments conducting workshops or programs with a multicultural focus may reserve space at the Center for the Unity Room or United Nations Classroom, through the online reservation process. Student groups that fall under the definition of multiculturalism may set up regular weekly or bi-weekly meeting times in the Center based on a first come, first served basis.

Off-campus groups must direct inquires to the Director, who will determine whether the meeting purpose is compatible with the mission of the center and, if so, instruct the off-campus group or agency to follow the University's guidelines concerning facility use by outside agencies.

The Unity Room (Room 104): accommodates 50 people and can be reserved through Conference Services. Priority is given to programs and activities that are multicultural in focus. The room is equipped with Audio Visual equipment.

The Universal Education Center (Resource Room), Room 105: is open for individual use. All computers in the Resource Room are for guests' use; however, priority must be given to students for academic use. This room cannot be reserved for group or program use. Groups are encouraged not to use this room for a meeting, but to instead reserve one of the other rooms in the Center.

The United Nations Classroom (Room 206): accommodates 30 students. It can be reserved for classes, workshops, and meetings through Conference Services.

The MCC Conference Room (Room 203): includes a small conference table and can accommodate 6 people. It is available through Conference Services. This room is recommended for Exec Board meetings or other smaller groups.

The MCC Study Room (Room 103):  accommodates 6 to 8 people and cannot be reserved online. This room can be requested at the Center for small meetings or study groups. It is open for individual use when not in use by groups.
