VETERAN AND MILITARY-AFFILIATED STUDENT ORIENTATION
Military and Veterans Orientation (MVO) is designed for students currently using military benefits (their own or their parent/spouse's transferred benefits) and students who served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
MVO is a valuable and informative session for military-affiliated students to learn about services and resources at Kutztown University such as the GI Bill and military education benefits process, Veterans Services Center, Green Zone training, and tips for college success.
On-campus orientation also includes information on:
- Academics and course scheduling
- University policies and procedures
- Financial Aid and Veterans scholarships
- Army ROTC opportunities
- Military Club student organization
- Student services, housing, vehicle registration and more
MVO is held during Connections Orientation. Connections Orientation is mandatory for new students. Register for an upcoming first-time Freshman or Transfer student orientation.
Military-affiliated students unable to attend Connections Orientation for a valid reason should contact the Office of New Student Programs at 610-683-4088 for orientation guidance.
Military-affiliated students who receive written documentation from the Office of New Student Programs excusing them from attending Connections Orientation must email the Office of Veterans Services, email@example.com, to request an online MVO kit.
Failure to complete your MVO kit prior to the start of the semester could result in a delay in benefits processing.
