Tenure Track Position in Art Education
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Art Education and Crafts at Kutztown University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Art Education beginning Fall 2014. Requirements: ABD in Art Education or related field with completion of degree within one year of hire, three years teaching in PreK-12 settings, and certification in Art Education. Doctorate in Art Education or related field preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include methods and clinical courses. The applicant should demonstrate a clear understanding of contemporary art education issues and possess and active record of participation in the field. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required.
