Part-Time Temporary Faculty Position in Art Education
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Art Education and Crafts at Kutztown University invites applicants for temporary part-time (2/3) position in Art Education for fall semester. Requirements: Masters in Art Education or related field, three years teaching in PreK-12 settings, and certification in Art Education. Doctorate or ABD in Art Education or related field preferred. Responsibilities may include teaching studio courses for majors and non-majors and/or art education methods courses. The applicant should demonstrate a clear understanding of contemporary art education issues and possess an active record of participation in the field. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required.
