CONNECTIONS: Freshman Program

CONNECTIONS, a program designed to orient new students to Kutztown University, offers interactive sessions conducted by student and faculty facilitators. CONNECTIONS is a great way for new students to get a clearer picture of the various aspects of life at KU, not to mention a great opportunity to meet new people.
The CONNECTIONS program takes place in the form of fifteen (15) one-day programs held during the month of June. Select the CONNECTIONS orientation date that you would like to attend online via Kutztown University's MyKU. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to your Kutztown e-mail account once your registration has been processed.
When choosing a date, please make sure you have no other obligations or conflicts, as CONNECTIONS requires full participation and no one is granted early dismissal. Program sign-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so register as soon as possible beginning March 18. Download PDF of Freshman CONNECTIONS calendar.
Information regarding date selection for 2013 Freshman CONNECTIONS programs will be mailed to all new freshmen who have paid their Advanced Registration Deposit (ARD) on or about mid-March every year. Mailings will continue after mid-March as new ARDs are received. Download PDF of Freshman CONNECTIONS Mailing.
CONNECTIONS is mandatory as advisement and registration for classes are held during the program. Everyone who plans to enroll full-time at Kutztown University must attend. If you do not complete the program you will be unable to register for classes.
During Freshman CONNECTIONS, new students will
- Receive a KU ID card
- Complete advisement & class scheduling
- Receive academic information
- Meet faculty, staff, and students
- Be able to ask questions
- Obtain campus resources
Come with your questions and concerns, but most importantly your energy to make CONNECTIONS an experience that you will never forget!
You can find the program dates on the CONNECTIONS calendar or download PDF of Freshman CONNECTIONS calendar.
