For Families

Going to college can be just as much of an adjustment for the family as it is for the student. Because of this, there is a special CONNECTIONS Program for family members of new freshman students.

This program gives family members the opportunity to become comfortable with:

• Their student's new home
• The people and offices their student will be interacting with on a daily basis

This optional, one-day program is held fifteen times in June. Since the family program is held completely independent of the student program, attendees are not limited to choosing the same date as their sons or daughters, and may choose the date that best fits their schedule.  Download PDF of Family CONNECTIONS calendar.

Attendance requires a $25 nonrefundable fee per person. Sign up online beginning March 18th using MyKU.

Due to the topics covered, the program is intended for a mature audience.
