Road Trip Nation is coming to KU!
Friday, October 9th 9-2 pm, Library Lawn
Not sure what you want to do with the rest of your life? Feel like you're living someone else's dream? Stop by to meet the RTN staff who are parking their green RV on the KU Library lawn!! The Roadtrip Nation Campus Tour visits colleges across the country, inspiring students to define their own roads in life. Visit the Green RV and find out how to get involved in the Roadtrip Nation Movement; whether it'd be through hitting the road on an Indie Roadtrip, watching the latest footage of people who have followed their passions in life, or simply experiencing firsthand the Roadtrip Nation philosophy that empowers people to find the open road.

Coffee & Convos events are designed to focus on specific industries and professions and are a great opportunity for students to interact with experienced professionals in a casual, yet informative setting. Panelists from different occupational areas will speak to students about:
- Careers in the field & where the industry is going
- The importance of internships and related experiences
- Employer expectations & becoming more marketable as a job candidate
- Tips and insights about entry-level career opportunities & finding success

The Washington Center for Internships serves hundreds of colleges and universities by providing selected students, from all majors, challenging opportunities to work and learn in Washington, D.C.
Air Products Community Internship Program
This program provides students with a $1,000 scholarship for completing an internship with an area (Berks County or Lehigh Valley) non-profit organization. This program can potentially provide a student, who otherwise may not be able to to complete an internship due to financial reasons, a scholarship to assist with financial need. Internships may take place during Fall, Spring or Summer sessions. You must intern a minimum of 150 hours per semester.
November is National Career Development Month!
The Career Development Center, invites you to celebrate National Career Development Month by creating a poster or poetry piece using this year's national theme, "Fostering Well-Being through Meaningful Work." Last year's national poetry winner was a KU student! This contest is in conjunction with the National Career Development Association and complies with this organization's rules. To learn more about each contest and specific rules, please visit the below links. Prizes will be awarded at the Kutztown level and winning entries will move forward to compete in a National Competition.
