Photography and Digital Images
The Offices of University Relations and Marketing sometimes hire photographers whose services can be used for university events. The expenses will vary and unless the images can also be used for printed materials, the university website, and/or media placement, these costs are the clients' responsibility.
University Relations and Marketing request that you give ten working days of notice for photography scheduling. If there are no UR/M members available to cover a request, cameras can be signed out by the event organizer through the UR/M offices.
Official photographs of faculty and staff, used for publicity purposes, may be arranged by an individual or department representative.
The UR/M offices maintain an inventory of digital images and old print photos for campus-use. To set up an appointment to review these photo libraries, please call or email. For information, please contact us.
Submission of Images for Print or Web
For printed materials, high resolution (300 dpi) images are needed. We can also scan photo prints. Digital images for websites may be 72 dpi. If you have any questions about photo submission, please contact Camille DeMarco in University Marketing at firstname.lastname@example.org (ext. 34645).
